If you're the kind of person that will plan an entire vacation around one show, we're about to make you really happy. Below, we've compiled a list of shows taking place near the beach, so when you're on vacay this summer, you can catch a show too.

After all, seeing music under clear skies and fresh air is better than a cold beer on a hot day. It'll leave you feeling refreshed and reenengerized for another day of lounging in the sun. From Florida Georgia Line to The Beach Boys to The Weekend, there's something beachy going on for every music fan. Check out these beach shows, and make your plans accordingly.

The Beach Boys

Town: Ocean City, NJ
Venue: Ocean City Pier
Date: August 21, 22 |
If you're ready to hang out by the ocean, what better soundtrack is there than The Beach Boys? Hello, they have "beach" right in their name and had some of surf rock's first and most famous hits. Check out Mike Love and Bruce Johnston while they provide all their big hits and make your summer easy, breezy and nostalgic.

Switchfoot & Lifehouse

Town: Brooklyn, NY
Venue: Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk
Date: August 12 |
Not only is this rock concert bill a perfect match for Switchfoot and Lifehouse, but they couldn't play a better venue. The Ford Amphitheater is literally right next to the Coney Island boardwalk, so before you go to the show, grab a hot dog at Nathan's and soak up the sun. On your way home, take in the pretty lights of the Wonderwheel and maybe go for a nighttime stroll in the cold sand as you watch the moon's reflection on the water.

Florida Georgia Line

Town: Wantagh, NY
Venue: Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater
Date: June 15 |
Spend a day in Long Island's Jones Beach State Park and then retire to Florida Georgia Line's concert at the outdoor theater. The legendary venue will host the country duo, along with Chris Lane and Nelly. You know FGL has about a dozen songs about the summertime, so maybe they'll bring a little Florida and a little Georgia to New York.

Ann Wilson of Heart

Town: Corpus Christi, TX
Venue: Concrete Street Amphitheater
Date: June 3 |
Ann Wilson will be going solo around the country this summer, and with a limited number of dates, she carefully chose the outdoor beach scene of Corpus Christi to infiltrate with her signature soaring vocals. Lounge on the Gulf Cost while channeling your inner badass with the Heart singer as inspiration.

Prince Royce

Town: Miami, FL
Venue: Bayfront Park Amphitheater
Date: July 30 |
Miami will be poppin' this summer, obviously (when is it not?), but prepare for a dose of romance when Prince Royce shows the party city what bachata can really do for you. The FIVE Tour also includes an appearance by Luis Coronel.

Third Eye Blind

Town: Miami, FL
Venue: Bayfront Park Amphitheater
Date: June 9 |
There's really nothing like seeing music performed outside, and Third Eye Blind, who appropriately named their upcoming shows The Summer Gods Tour, can bring all your favorite songs, while you bring the sunscreen. As Silversun Pickups come along, singalongs are bound to happen in Miami.

I Love The 90s

Town: Pompano Beach, FL
Venue: Pompano Beach Amphitheatre
Date: August 19 |
Not everybody has a time machine, so the I Love The 90s Tour is as close as you're going to get to reliving the music of yesteryear. Salt-N-Pepa, Coolio, Vanilla Ice and Young MC are all signed on for the Pompano Beach stop on the tour, so prepare to kick it back to your childhood in this outdoor amphitheater.

Town: Orange Beach, AL
Venue: The Amphitheater at The Wharf
Date: July 6 |
The Gulf Coast will embrace Journey with open arms this summer when the iconic band visits sunny Orange Beach. Take a break from endless water views to sing along with "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Any Way You Want It" with singer Arnel Pineda.

Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival

Town: San Francisco, CA
Venue: Golden Gate Park
Date: August 11-13 |
The Outside Lands Festival will put you under the sun and by the water, with the Golden Gate Bridge towering overhead. The lineup is absolutely crazy. Check it out: Metallica, The Who, Gorillaz, Lorde, A Tribe Called Quest, alt-J, Queens of the Stone Age, Above & Beyond, Fleet Foxes, Empire of the Sun and The Avett Brothers.
