On Monday night's MTV Video Music Awards in New York our artists belonged to the number one winners of the evening.
We summarised the highlights for you!


Camila Cabello was honored as 'Artist of the year' and „Havana“ [ft. Young Thug] won the category ‚Video of the year‘.
She was honestly grateful and thanked her fans emotionally:

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, together known as The Carters, won ‚Best Cinematography‘ and ‚Best Art Direction‘ for „APES**T“.

Also Childish Gambino was one of the big players of the evening as „This Is America“ even won three categories: ‚Best Direction‘, ‚Best Choreography‘ sowie ‚Video With A Message‘ .

Nicki Minaj's „Chun-Li“ is the ‚Best Hip Hop Video‘. Live she performed a medley containing "Majesty", "Barbie Dreams" , „FEFE“  and "Ganja Burn":

The biggest highlight live on stage was the performance of Aerosmith together with Post Malone, whose song „rockstar“ [ft. 21 Savage] was awarded the ‚Song of the Year‘. See stage performance here:

Ariana Grande walked away with an award for "No Tears Left to Cry" as ‚Best Pop Video‘ and performed her new single „God Is A Woman“ live. Her mum and even her grandmother proudly supported her:

Unsurprisingly ‚Best Visual Effects‘ award went to Kendrick Lamar & SZA for their video to "All The Stars".

For their common work on „Dinero“ Jennifer Lopez, DJ Khaled and Cardi B got the Award in ‚Best Collaboration‘. Furthermore J.Lo won ‚Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award‘ – live she enthused with a nice medley:
