Mabel, the daughter of singer and songwriter Neneh Cherry and Massive Attack record producer Cameron McVey, has music in her blood. But don't think she's used her family connections for her music - she kept the fact she was writing her own music a secret from her parents for a long time.

Her debut single „Know Me Better“ was released in summer 2015 and went straight to the top of the UK digital charts - a reason for BBC to include the singer in the popular "BBC Sound of 2016" list. The single „Finders Keepers“ from her debut ep „Bedroom“ even made it to the Top-10 in the UK.
