BRUNO, ADELE, METALLICA TO PERFORM AT THE GRAMMY'S {CHANGE THIS}

LNTV Staff / February 08, 2017

The 2017 Grammys are taking over in just a few weeks and as the list of performers grows, we imagine the creative meeting went something like this: “Hey, we’re gonna just have everyone amazing play--cool? Cool.” Check out the (still growing) list below to see what artists will get stage time at music’s most prestigious night.

Bruno Mars

First up, we have the man, the myth and the legend that is Bruno Mars. We’d say this is big news, but seeing as the Grammy Award winner has performed on the show five times now, we’re sure Bruno has it down even if it’s been four years.

Mars is pairing his performance with a Grammy nomination for his part on Adele’s 25. The suave musician first broke into the scene with traditional pop songs before changing it up and promoting funky music that likens back to the days of Soul Train. While we sit here jamming "24k Magic,” Bruno is probably working on ways to stun us.

Adele

Since we mentioned the queen of pulling heart-strings, we’ll reassure you that Adele is indeed performing at this year’s Grammys. Last year, her album 25 broke incredible records on the Billboard charts, and put her in the ranks with legends like The Beatles and Elvis.

Adele holds nominations for “Album of the Year”, “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album.” We can only hope that she’ll welcome us with a loving “Hello” and that she’ll “Send [her] Love” to all of us.

John Legend

You know you’re a legend when you get invited to perform at the Grammys with no nominations in sight. We love you John and are grateful that you love “All of Me” and for all the things you blessed us with in 2016.

If you don’t follow the Legend family on social media you're missing out--specfically on adorable baby Luna pictures. John has been writing music that empowers women around the globe to be themselves and find those who love them for who they are, wholly. So much warmth and love to be had. We can't wait to soak it up on Grammy night.

Metallica

What type of Grammy award show would this be if they didn’t let the metal band of the ages come perform after they just released what is possibly their most anticipated album ever? Metallica has RETURNED my friends. They're back, ready to take over, and probably going to shock the Chainsmokers into live music submission.

As a staple band with worldwide acclaim who has been a constant in the lives of rockers everywhere, Metallica’s performance will be welcome with a lot of excitement for live music lovers.

Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban

Our girl is back and ready to wow the Grammys for a second year in a row. Remember last year's duet with Sam Hunt? Breathtaking. We’re loving the fact that Carrie not only moved up the ranks from Grammy performer to Grammy nominee AND performer this year.

Maybe we'll get another duet from her with friend Keith Urban?

Speaking of the Australian country singer heartthrob, we’re very excited to see the record breaker on the Grammys stage this year. We can’t wait to see what he brings to the table. If you’ve followed him at all in 2016 you’ll know that it was possibly the biggest year he’s had in over a decade of a successful career.

More performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The Grammys air on Sunday, February 12.
