The xx have completed their Night + Day Festival at the O2 Academeny in Brixton, London, and the whole, seven-night event was chock full of musical celebs and collaborations. Pop fairy godmother Robyn graced the stage on Night 5, while Cat Power invited Romy Madley Croft to duet with her during her set on Night 6. Wednesday (March 17) marked the finale performance of the 2017 festival, and the crowd got a special surprise from Florence Welch.

The Florence + The Machine frontwoman floated onstage after The xx introduced her, lifting her arms at the mic as if to prepare herself for a spiritual experience. And, since most of Welch's stage antics do get spritual, she coursed from one side of the room to the other, belting out "You've Got the Love."

The song appeared on Welch's 2009 album, Lungs, but the Night + Day performance was especially significant, since The xx remixed the track back in the day. Onstage, Jamie xx added his vocals to the song, duetting with Welch as they chanted "You've got the love" before Florence exploded into a couple high notes strong enough to shatter the ether. You can see Jamie hugging Romy as Florence sings, taking in the absolute wonder of the moment.
