ADELE BECOMES A COMEDIAN DURING TECH ISSUE AT AUSSIE SHOW

Written by Emilee Lindner / March 30, 2017

Adele became quite the comedian on Tuesday night when her show suffered a bit of a technical difficulty in Adelaide, Australia.

The improv master killed time on stage as her crew mended the power outage that halted the concert. The power loss stopped her revolving stage from working, therefore forcing Adele to stop singing for a moment.

"So, we're having a technical difficulty. I'm not quite sure what it is. Shall I try and tell some jokes?" she said. You know Adele.

"Our power has gone out under the stage, so who knows how long we're going to be doing this for? Shall I tell you my filthy joke despite all the children here?" she continued. Cheers ensured. "I need more applause than that because I might offend someone."

But she reportedly kept going: "What do you call a blonde standing on her head? ... A brunette with bad breath."

Then, she is said to have passed the mic to someone else, who unleashed this two-liner: "Have you heard about the new restaurant on the moon? Apparently the food's great, but there's no atmosphere."

The power outage lasted for five minutes, and then it was back to business.

During the show, Adele also admitted she was transported to the stage every show in a box, as some news outlets had suggested on Monday. "Thank God the Australian press have outed me, because I'm not getting in that f*cking box again," she told the crowd. "I've done 112 shows in that box, and it has been a nightmare. This time when I came out you all knew I was in it, I was scared ... I was frightened. So now, I'll just walk out of my room surprised going 'oh hello, hello!'"
