A look back on Miguel’s War & Leisure North American tour.

Written by LN Team / June 07, 2018

It’s nearly one month until Miguel brings his War & Leisure tour dates down to New Zealand - so we’re looking back on the tour that already spanned North America earlier this year, so we know what to expect.

Billboard said in a review: “He created an environment that was as fun to be in as it was uplifting, sending messages of love while inspiring sing-alongs to his biggest hits and fan favorites.”

Check out him moments before he hits the stage:

During his shows, he takes time to talk about the music and the meaning behind each of his albums:

“Kaleidoscope Dream is all about understanding that you are the curator of your own reality… molding, creating, choosing how you see the world and what it is you experience.” When it comes to Wildheart, “It’s about living within that reality, trusting your own voice and the infinite wisdom within. And living your fucking truth.” And finally, War & Leisure, which is about understanding that every day is not easy, but we all fight for the things we love in life to make sure we live it to the fullest – and “we all got a reason to celebrate it.”

This video of Pineapple Skies shows how lit you can expect the show to get:

Plus you wanna truly experience it, someone recorded the entire show (minus five songs) in Atlanta if you want to watch it below:
