5 of our favourite MØ collaborations

Written by LN Team / February 13, 2019

Having just announced her first ever headline Auckland show, Danish popstar MØ will bring some of her biggest hits to Shed 10 when she performs on April 23.

As well as her own releases (her debut album ‘No Mythologies To Follow’ was released in 2014, and the follow-up ‘Forever Neverland’), she’s collaborated with loads of big names - including Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Diplo, and more.

To celebrate her NZ show going on sale, here are five of our favourite collaborations that she’s done:

She featured on Charli XCX’s ‘Number 1 Angel’ mixtape back in 2017, and Charli returned the favour by featuring on her album last year on ‘If It’s Over’.

Dua Lipa’s song ‘IDGAF’ is a true girl power anthem, and she performed it for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge along with her friends MØ, Charli XCX, Zara Larsson, and Alma!

Having worked with Major Lazer a lot in the past, MØ teamed up with them again on the hit single ‘Cold Water’ which also featured vocals from pop sensation Justin Bieber!

‘Lean On’ was one of the biggest songs of 2015 - it’s certified four times platinum in New Zealand - and saw Major Lazer and MØ team up on what was one of the catchiest songs in a long time.

She’s also worked with legendary pop producer Jack Antonoff on ‘Never Fall In Love’, a duet between the two that was featured in the soundtrack for ‘Love, Simon’!
