Ahead of his UK dates this summer, here are 9 things you might not know about comedian, Sean Patton... 

1. As well as being a comedian, he's also a writer, storyteller and performer.

2. He's originally from New Orleans but is now based in New York and Los Angeles. 

3. As a standup, he has appeared at numerous festivals including The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney International Comedy Festival, JFL Chicago, JFL Toronto, JFL Montreal in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2016. The Moontower Comedy Festival, RIOT LA, High Plains, SXSW, Outsidelands, Dublin Comedy Festival, NYCF, Bonnaroo, Nashville Comedy Festival and premiered his show Number One at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017. 

4. He has appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Conan in 2011 and 2013.

5. His Comedy Central Half Hour and album was released in 2013.

6. On screen, you might recognise him from IFC’s Maron, Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer and TruTV’s Those Who Can’t.

7. He is known for his insane stories. He has even been paid $500 dollars not to tell THIS story.

8. You might have seen his second appearance on Comedy Central's 'This Is Not Happening' which has had over 800k views so far.
