Having sold 150 million records over the last 25 years and scoring 33 consecutive Top 40 hits, Billy Joel is globally known as one of most popular recording artists and respected entertainers of all time. This summer he'll be returning to London for the first time in 3 years to play a huge show at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 22nd June, his only UK show of 2019. 1. Taken from Billy's 1983 album 'An Innocent Man', 'Uptown Girl' sold over 1,000,000 copies in the UK and the music video being watched over 100,000,000 times!

2. 'We Didn't Start The Fire' was nominated for 'Record Of The Yearr at the 1989 GRAMMY Awards and references over 100 headline events between 1949 (the year Billy was born) and 1989 (the year the song was released).

3. Released in 1977 as the lead single from Billy's fifth album 'The Stranger', 'Just The Way You Are' won 2 GRAMMY Awards and was his first single to reach gold in the US.

4. Doo-wop single 'The Longest Time' features Billy on lead vocals, backing vocals AND percussive sounds such as finger snaps and hand claps.

5. 'Only The Good Die Young' is a catchy pop-rock tune from Billy's hit 1977 album 'The Stranger'.

6. Taken from Billy's final studio album 'River Of Dreams' in 1993, 'The River of Dreams' was his highest-charting track of the 90s.

7. Billy performed his stunning track 'She’s Always a Woman' at his unforgettable concerts to mark the closing of the New York Mets stadium in 2008. 

8. 'It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me' is taken from Billy's hit album 'Glass Houses' released in 1980 and certified platinum in the US after selling over 1,000,000 copies!

9. In a July 2008 interview with New York Times, Billy praised 'Vienna' as one of his two favourite songs alongside "Summer, Highland Falls".

10. Known as his first major hit, 'Piano Man' is loved by fans as his signature song and is known to be a highlight of Billy's incredible live show.
