POP PUNK 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOURS WISHLIST?

Written by LNTV Staff / Photography by Wayne Posner, One Nation / January 25, 2017

As evolved pop punk kids, we're ecstatic to see We The Kings and Mayday Parade putting together 10 Year Anniversary Tours for their staple breakthrough albums. We're excited to see them perform and who they bring out. And because we CANNOT RESIST the temptation of reliving 2007 in full, we have some ideas for a few other bands who need to tour their 10-year-old albums in 2007.

Paramore Riot
riot
Possibly Paramore’s most popular album to date, Riot! transitioned them from Warped Tour regular to mainstream darlings. The album housed hits “Misery Business,” “That’s What You Get,” and “Crushcrushcrush.”

Cobra Starship ¡Viva La Cobra!
stupid dance that ruins lives
Let’s get one thing straight, "I came here to make you dance tonight". And that’s EXACTLY what Cobra needs to do in 2017. “Guilty Pleasure” is still the only song from this era that was joined by a very specific dance, and we need it to survive 2017.

Fall Out Boy Infinity On High

We know. It’s not TTTYG or FUTC, but Infinity On High is arguably one of the most popular and successful Fall Out Boy albums out there. Singles like “This Ain’t A Scene,” “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs,” “The Take Over, The Breaks Over,” “I’m Like A Lawyer with the Way I’m Always Trying to Get You Off,” took OVER the radio back in 2007. It was hit after hit after hit. But Infinity On High was also Fall Out Boy’s call out to being able to do anything they wanted — hello Jay-Z on “Thriller” — but also it was their big thank you to their core fans. A lot of the songs reference being big in the scene, the push it gave them, and how fame affected their lives. Possibly one of Wentz’s most impressive lyrical collections, Infinity On High deserves a tour, a DVD, and a monument.

The Rocket Summer Do You Feel
iconic
Here's the thing about The Rocket Summer-- he still wins 2007. Whether or not you were a fan of his, you KNEW about the "Do You Feel" music video, song, and album. It wasn't a choice. Do You Feel boasts some of Bryce Avery's most successful songs ever. Beyond the title track, jams like "So Much Love," "Break It Out," and "So, in This Hour" probably swarmed all your feel-good playlists of 2007 and on. If he wants to add in "Brat Pack" to the setlist, we won't tell.

All Time Low So Wrong, It’s Right

We saved the best for last. All Time Low’s So Wrong, It’s Right is easily the most celebrated scene album of 2007. Released on September 25, the album the album not only boasted their most popular single of all time “Dear Maria, Count Me In” but also had “Six Feet Under the Stars” and the ever-celebratory “Poppin’ Champagne.” It’s time for All Time Low to count US in on a 10 year tour.
