OBAMA IS THROWING A FINAL PARTY WITH ALL OUR FAVORITE ARTISTS

Written by LNTV Staff / January 06, 2017

The Obama Administration is making a grand exit as our ever cool, hip, well-spoken President throws a party this weekend with many of our faves as featured guests. We’re excited to see artists across generations come out to support the most chill President ever. We’ll miss the mic drops, the classiness of the First Family, Flotus, the way Mr. Obama looks at babies, and mostly we’ll miss his kind nature and connection with today’s youth.

It seems as MANY artists share the sentiment as music royalty across generations will be in attendance to give the President a proper goodbye. From Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Wonder, and Sir Paul McCartney to Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Bradley Cooper, JJ Abrams and the White House’s greatest Christmas Caroler ever Chance The Rapper will be there. We can’t let it go, we won’t let it go.

We’re excited to see if there are any impromptu performances from America’s real royalty Queen B. We’d also love to single out England’s finest Sir Paul for a rendition of his song ”Freedom." We’re looking forward to all the hopeful memes, performances, and hopefully a collab of Chance and Bey because we already saw how adorable the two are around each other last year at the VMA’s.

Maybe Chance and Beyoncé can discuss policies and platform for their future campaign? Just an idea we had. For now, we’ll settle for a collab performance from the two. With on Obama guest vocals. And then an album, and then another party just because they CAN. This is America, friends, we can have everything.

While we debate on what people are doing for collabs, we can just be excited that we’re getting one more epic event from the Obama Administration. According to Consequence of Sound, Barack and Michelle cited this as a “grown up party.” While COS is hoping for keg stands from Biden, we’re hoping for a giant dance party that will leave loving fun scuff marks and permanent reminders in the White House that Obama was THERE.
