The Irish Band Kodaline have released a new single ‘Brother’ ahead of their international tour later this year. The single has all the classic Kodaline features of moving lyrics and rousing chorus. The band last release was in 2015 with the album ‘Coming Up for Air’, but the two year wait is over and this new single certainly hints at another successful album.
The emotional video that accompanies the single sees a young brother coming to terms with the loss of his older brother. The beautifully shot video shows the younger brother waking in the night to discover his brother is back in the house. The two boys continue to build a fort but when the younger brother falls asleep he wakes to discover he had only dreamed his brothers’ presence.
The video is characteristic of the band who continually pull at our heartstrings since the release of the first video of ‘All I Want’ in 2012.
Kodaline will begin their tour on the 7th November in Paris and ends in the O2 Academy Brixton on the 12 December, stopping at a variety of venues including some in Spain and the Netherlands. A full list of the tour can be found here.
