Metallica in Copenhagen: Warm-Up-Conzert before WorldWired Tour

Written by LNTV Germany / March 27, 2017

Metallica played a warm-up concert in Copenhagen for their gigs in Europe. We sent Live Nation reporter Oliver Plöger there, who didn't only interview fans but also got an interview with Metallica-bassist Robert Trujillo.

Metallica, founded by drummer Lars Ulrich and lead singer James Hetfield in 1981, have become one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands of all times. More than 110 million albums worldwide and millions of fans spread on all continents prove the significance of this formative band.

Metallica have been awarded and praised numerously with nine Grammys, two American Music Awards and various MTV Video Music Awards. 2009 they were accepted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In December 2013 they wrote a special chapter in music history, when they gave a rare concert in the Antarctic and hence became the  first band ever to play all seven continents in one year. This even saved them a spot in the Guinessbook of world records.

Metallica will be coming on „WorldWired Tour“ between mid-September 2017 and end of April 2018 as a follow-up to their recent album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct and will be playing several arena gigs in selected cities in Germany and Austria.

See Metallica live!
