The hyped newcomer just released a new video to his song "Unknown (To You)", which was already released in 2015. The storyline forms around an adolescent and his relationship to his father. Jacob came up with the idea himself as the video gives the song a whole new meaning. It relates to his lately grown relationship to his own father.

“I can write a song today and something can happen later down the line that gives that song new meaning to me,” says Banks. “Before when I wrote it, it was purely about a relationship. Now it has a more intimate meaning to me… now when I sing [“Unknown”] I think about my relationship with my family and my dad specifically.”

On October 13th Jacob Banks will play an exclusive showcase at Kantine am Berghain in Berlin.
