German Chancellor Angela Merkel remarks on Global Citizens' engagement ahead of Global Citizen Festival on the July 6 in Hamburg. Herbert Grönemeyer, Coldplay, The Chainsmokers and Ellie Goulding will be headlining the free concert. The idea of the Global Citizen Festival originally started off in New York's Central Park and will take place in Germany for the first time this summer in Hamburg to challenge the G20-heads of State and Governments to become active in the areas of health, women's rights, education, n Bereichen Gesundheit, Frauenrechte, Bildung, food security and access to drinking water and sanitary facilities and address the global refugee crisis.
