GRAMMY NOMINEREDE PÅ TOUR

Skrevet af LNTV Staff / Photography by Mike Amico / February 09, 2017

In just a little over a month, we’ll finally get to see who will be taking home those esteemed gold gramophones. We put together this gallery of artists who’ve been staying busy not only in the studio but also on the road. Whether they win or not, it’s obvious these stars are worth seeing:

Miranda Lambert

Country’s leading lady has also racked up a couple nominations this year for ‘Best Country Solo Performance’ and ‘Best Country Song.’ It’s been 12 years since her debut album Kerosene went platinum in the U.S. From more platinum-certified singles to Pistol Annies, Lambert has only gotten better and better over the years. Her sixth studio effort and latest album The Weight of These Wings debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and No. 3 on the overall US Billboard 200 chart. Following up with the successful album, she’ll be traveling through the country on her Highway Vagabond Tour, which kicks off at the end of this month.

Justin Bieber

Is it really any surprise that America’s favorite not-so-little-anymore heartthrob is up for yet another Grammy this year? Nominated this year for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album,’ ‘Best Pop Solo Performance,’ ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year,’ Bieber boasts not only one, but four nominations for the globally esteemed award. After his win last year for ‘Best Dance Recording’ with “Where Are Ü Now,” Beliebers and manager Scooter Braun are hopeful for another successful season. Check Biebs out on his Purpose World Tour to see the Grammy-worthy magic for yourself.

Ariana Grande

Officially dubbed by Nicki Minaj as the ‘Queen of Pop,’ Ariana has carved quite a path for herself over the last year. With highlight performances like her steamy AMA show with Nicki or her feminism-inspired SNL appearance, the girl has made some serious moves to prove her—along with other women's—worth in the pop scene. Nominated for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ and ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ up against her pop counterpart Biebs, we’re hoping she won’t go home empty handed.

Panic! At the Disco

It’s been 12 years since Panic! first broke out onto the alternative rock and Top 40 charts in the era of Fall Out Boy emo kids with their hit single “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.” Since then, the band has been through the ups and downs of the rockstar lifestyle leaving lead singer Brendon Urie easily one of the most accomplished musicians and comeback stories in modern music history. His newest album Death of a Bachelor is up for 'Best Rock Album' this year, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else taking the award home. From his ability to perform vocals that range from Sinatra to Freddie Mercury style, and the multiple eras of rock infused in the album — including the Sinatra-like ballad for the title track — Urie proved with six of his seven singles charting on Billboard charts from the album that he’s here, and he’s here to say.

Twenty One Pilots

Up for ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,’ ‘Best Rock Performance,’ ‘Best Rock Song,’ and ‘Best Song Written for Visual Media,’ Tyler Joseph and Josh Dunn have racked up a reputation for being among the upper echelon of performers and songwriters. Though they’ve won numerous awards from Billboard Music Awards to iHeartRadio and even Alternative Press, the pop rock duo have yet to receive a Grammy—this year would expectedly be their first for the masked musicians. Either way, we know the two rockers will always have their Skeleton Clique keeping them going.

Lukas Graham

Danish pop heroes Lukas Graham have been inching their way towards world domination over the last couple years, with their worldwide hit “7 Years” graciously leading the way. This being their first year as Grammy nominees, they are up for three different titles: ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year,’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.’
