WHY EVE LOVES DR. DRE {OCTOBER - CHANGE THIS}

Grammy winner and female rapper extraordinaire Eve recently sat down with LNTV to chat about how much influence Dr. Dre had on her career. From urging her to stay even when she was tired to helping her channel inspiration for her biggest and most successful songs, Eve credits Dre: "Every time he pushed me, I made some of the best records of my life."

Dr. Dre was extremely crucial in the makings of some of her biggest tracks, like "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" (Feat. Gwen Stefani) and "Satisfaction." Dre himself was in the studio with Eve as she co-wrote these songs, and helped mold her work ethic when it came to creating, writing and producing in the studio. "It was like shadowboxing with Dre," Eve explains.

After having made some appearances over the past two years on T.I.'s Oxygen reality show Sisterhood of Hip-Hop, Eve has spent some time under the radar with her current husband of two years Maximillion Cooper. Coming off her 2013 album, Lip Lock and its promotional tour, Eve has been in the studio working.

In-between her albums, Eve has also been starring in the Barbershop franchise, most recently Barbershop: The Next Cut which premiered on April 15, 2016.The "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" rapper announced earlier this year that she would be joining Gwen Stefani on her This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour throughout the year. She and Gwen will share the stage together this weekend in Los Angeles and Irvine, California.
