Anderson. Paak, the American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist, has just hit the road with his "Best Teef in the Game Tour" in support of his recent album Ventura, that was released last month. “The Best Teef in the Game” tour features an all-star supporting lineup that includes alternating appearances from Thundercats, Earl Sweatshirt, NONAME, Mac DeMarco, and Jessie Reyez.
.Paak has already hit Nashville and Cleveland, being two of the 21 scheduled cities of this tour. Tonight (May 21), the 33-year-old will be taking the stage at The Met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for another illuminating show.
Let's check out some highlights below from the tour thus far:
Night One-- May 17th in Nashville, Tennessee @ The Ascend Amphitheater
Before .Paak even took the stage, the jazz-fusion maestro Thundercat and Earl Sweatshirt wooed the crowd, preparing them for the high energy that would follow. .Paak then took the stage, looking up and pointing at the bright moon hanging over the amphitheater, and asked the crowd if the moon was a full one and then continued to tell them:
“We're about to get active!”
His band The Free Nationals joined the stage, dripped in all blue, unlike .Paak's multi-design and colored fit. The set was front-loaded with bangers including “Come Down,” “Tints” and “King James” played by .Paak who was seated behind his drums on a platform over center stage. He then joined the stage to pair the rest of his 90-minute set with his inexhaustible energy and care-free dance moves. After his 20-track set, which pulled from his whole catalog, .Paak joined the crowd again for a four-track encore. The hip-hop and R&B phenom closed out the night with "Dang!" to recognize and remember his late friend and collaborator Mac Miller.

Night Two-- May 20th in Cleveland, Ohio @ The Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
The rambunctious energy and outsized production were brought in the same magnitude to Anderson .Paak's second stop in Cleveland, Ohio. The sold-out show was another visual and audible fantasy that was matched with an infectious crowd that did not let up during his entire set. .Paak performed the same setlist as the night before but continued to make each song unique with his commentary and visual effects.
