Yesterday afternoon (April 6) singer and songwriter James Blake went live on Instagram to perform an acoustic set for fans at 1 pm PST/ 4 pm EST.

Blake performed a 9-song acoustic set on his piano at his home in Los Angeles, California.
He began his hour-long set with a Ray Charles cover of “Georgia On My Mind” and seamlessly transitioned into his own song “I’ll Come Too.” This was Blake’s first time covering the Ray Charles song.
Then Blake performed a Joy Division of cover “Atmosphere” transitioning into his own song “Life Round Here.”
Blake also took a break from his set to answer fan questions that were flooding in during his Livestream.
A highlight from the Livestream was when Blake performed a cover of Beyoncé’s “Forward.” He actually wrote this song for Beyoncé and was featured on the track. This was a part of her iconic Lemonade album.
Toward the end of his set, Blake performed a few more of his own songs including “Retrograde,” “Say What You Will,” which is a new song, and “Are You in Love.”
“Retrograde” and “Life Round Here” are both in James Blake’s top five most-performed songs. “Retrograde” has been played a total of 212 times and “Life Round Here” has been played a total of 175 times.
Toward the end of the Livestream, Blake was cut off before he could finish, so he began a second Livestream to close his set. For the first time, he performed the Roberta Flack song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.”
"I've had a great time doing this. I love you all. Thank you to everyone everywhere who tuned in."
