THE REVIVALISTS PREMIERE 'IT WAS A SIN'

Written by LNTV Staff / January 02, 2017

Rootsy rock 'n' rollers The Revivalists have a special Black Friday / Record Store Day release in store for their fans, but first, they've given LNTV the premiere of their live video for "It Was A Sin," shot at Tipitina's in New Orleans.

Frontman David Shaw said, "Playing at Tipitina's has always been special to us. We had one of our first shows there, so I think that we all feel really grounded and at home when we step foot on that stage. I remember the performance of “It Was A Sin" from that night quite well. Every single person in the room strapped in and came along for the ride. It was a beautiful moment."

Now, about the deal: The seven-piece band will be releasing a Limited Edition RSD Black Friday exclusive vinyl “Strangers In the Bright Lights” on November 25. It features live songs from Men Amongst Mountains recorded at Tiptinas in New Orleans which the video above gives a preview of. And for those of you who will be hitting actual, physical record stores, a limited run of deluxe vinyl will be available at indie retail.
