Coldplay played London's Wembley Stadium as part of their A Head Full of Dreams Tour and took a moment to pay tribute to Jo Cox, the British parliament member who was murdered earlier yesterday. "We'd like to send love out to the family of Jo Cox," said frontman Chris Martin before playing "Kaleidoscope" as the venue lights dimmed. Cox was pronounced dead after being shot and stabbed in the northern city of Birstall, England.

Martin also voiced his confusion and sadness surrounding last week's shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub that left 49 people dead and devastated the LGBT community worldwide. "None of us are entirely sure why that stuff goes on. All we can do is send our love out and hope everyone is able to recover," explained Martin the previous night as he launched into "See You Soon."
