Carly Rae Jepsen returns with two new tracks for your listening pleasure today (February 27)! The "Run Away With Me" hit-maker follows up last fall's lead single from this new era, "Party For One," with "Now That I Found You" and "No Drug Like Me."
The two new songs unveiled today give us a flavorful taste of what to expect on Jepsen's as-yet-untitled upcoming album due out later this year, marking her first studio album since the highly acclaimed 2015 effort, Emotion.
"Now That I Found You," produced by Captain Cuts, is a dreamy slice of indie-pop served up with a generous splash of '80s vibes. Jepsen's found the one – at least for a song, on "Now That I Found You," no heartbreak or regrets here , it's the full-on rush to the head when you find someone new to love.
Shifting gears, "No Drug Like Me," produced John Hill & Jordan Palmer, is a shimmering prom ballad, I can already hear this being played in whatever new scripted sitcom MTV picked up about high schoolers. It's a gorgeous mid-tempo taste of Jepsen's new era, might be my favorite so far...
On new music, Jepsen shared:
"’Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life. It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug. Which leads me to ‘No Drug Like Me" which is a promise I made to love in general. That when the good stuff lands my way I’ll always try to be vulnerable and brave and show all of myself" - Carly Rae Jepsen
In the event that you missed out on "Party For One," you need to do yourself the favor and take a listen.

While there's no word on a 2019 tour for Carly Rae Jepsen, a new studio album all but promises that we'll get to see Jepsen on the road in 2019. It's been too long and her 2018 Lollapalooza performance doesn't count, we need a proper tour!
