A BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK OF SIMPLE PLAN'S JAPANESE TOUR

Written by LNTV Staff / July 20, 2016

According to most, Simple Plan got its name because the bandmembers were looking for a "simple plan" to avoid working at McDonalds. Now, some 15 years and five studio albums later, Simple Plan's trajectory doesn't seem so simple after all. The French-Canadian pop-punk act—made up of frontman Pierre Bouvier, guitarist Jeff Stinco, guitarist Sébastien Lefebvre, bassist David Desrosiers, and drummer Chuck Comeau—have toured the world countless times over since releasing their smash hit debut, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls in 2002. Most recently, they returned to Japan for a string of dates in support of their new, fifth LP, Taking One for the Team. Below, the fellas share some snaps and thoughts from their big trip overseas, which included a few walking tours, a few selfies with fans, and a lot of really, really good eating. Check out the band's tour diary below.
