This October, the UK’s hottest club night Hopscotch heads out on a UK tour.
Curated by Radio X presenter Jack Saunders, Hopscotch puts the most exciting new acts on stage each month at London’s The Social, with previous alumni including The Amazons, Will Joseph Cook, Cortes and Pleasure Beach.
Now, Hopscotch has rounded up three of the hottest acts out there to embark on a run of shows together across the UK, bringing the best of new music to your doorstep. Here’s who’s on the bill:
Hailing from Brighton, this female-fronted four piece’s sound combines tight, sludgy grunge riffs, an abundance of pop hooks and the frenetic live energy of DIY punk. The outfit have unleashed a handful of tracks, picking up praise from the likes of NME, DIY Magazine and Noisey along the way. Listen to latest release ‘Wouldn’t Wanna Be Ya’:
This London indie-pop four-piece draw influences from the likes of The Cure, Arcade Fire, 90’s No Doubt, The Cardigans and Blur. The group have enjoyed a whirlwind year, being chosen as one of Annie Mac’s ‘New Names for 2016’, achieving a #3 on Hype Machine with single ‘Breakfast’, and opening the Other Stage at Glastonbury this summer. Stereo Honey are an indie-rock four-piece hailing from London, whose standout falsetto vocals, tight drum beats and soft guitar melodies have seen them pick up a legion of fans since they stormed onto the scene earlier this year. Listen to outstanding track ‘The Heart’:
