Written by Megan Snell / November 15, 2016

Following its Radio 1 premiere last night as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World, singer-songwriter Jorja Smith has shared ‘Something In The Way’, the first single from her debut EP.

Hotly-tipped Jorja emerged onto the scene late last year with ‘Blue Lights’, a track that saw her pick up a MOBO nomination for Best Song, and won her a support slot on NAO’s recent UK tour.

Jorja can also count Drake amongst her fans, after he named her track ‘Where Did I Go’ as his favourite song of the moment in a recent Entertainment Weekly interview.

‘Something In The Way’ is the first glimpse of Jorja’s debut EP ‘Project 11’, a collection of four brand new, unreleased tracks co-written with and produced by Charlie, which will be released in full on Friday 18th November. Tune in here:

Following the EP's release, Jorja caps off her 2016 with her first UK headline tour, playing sold-out shows at Manchester, London and Birmingham.

'Project 11' is available everywhere from Friday.
