Today we've got ANOTHER name to announce for this year's BluesFest.
With a career spanning over 10 years, Jack Savoretti has endured an arduous climb to the top. After being pegged as the next big thing as a 20-year-old singer-songwriter, Savoretti realised the people around him didn’t share the same vision he had for his music.
Instead of keeping quiet and playing the game, Savoretti wrestled for creative freedom, but lost his golden ticket to fame in the process. The next seven years were spent slogging away on the touring circuit, struggling to make his way.
Savoretti’s authenticity and hard work eventually paid off in 2015, with his fourth album ‘Written In Scars’ becoming a break-through hit, peaking at No. 7 in the chart and securing a gold disc.
Savoretti released his fifth album ‘Sleep No More’ just one year later, with the release climbing one place higher and enjoying success across Europe.
Jack Savoretti plays indigo at The O2 on Friday 27th October, joining the likes of CHIC Featuring Nile Rodgers, Daryl Hall & John Oates and more at this year's BluesFest! For more info on the event, head over to www.bluesfest.co.uk.
