Introducing: Alex Lahey

Written by Megan Snell / January 25, 2018

She's just released an incredible debut album and heads out on a UK tour in March. World, meet Alex Lahey...

Rising indie force Alex Lahey serves up a perfect balance of catchy pop melodies with wry, relatable lyrics about adolescent life.

The Australian singer-songwriter first introduced herself in 2016 with debut EP ‘B-Grade University’, a release that caught the ears of Aussie radio giant Triple J, led to a ‘Best New Music’ nod from Pitchfork and saw her invited on tour with Tegan and Sara.

Last year saw Lahey ink a deal with independent label Dead Oceans before dropping her incredible debut album ‘I Love You Like A Brother’. The album was championed by the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NME, DIY, London In Stereo and more.

We can't choose! Just stick on ‘I Love You Like A Brother’ in its entirety – trust us, you’ll be hooked.
