Gang Of Youths' David Bowie Cover Features In The Justice League Movie Trailer

Written by Matilda Buckingham / October 09, 2017

Upcoming superhero film 'Justice League' has just released it's final official trailer before hitting theatres next month, and it features Gang Of Youths' cover of David Bowie's iconic 'Heroes'. The Australian rockers' cover is a fresh take on the song and sets the scene for the epic superhero showdown. Check it out in the trailer below 👇

Gang Of Youths originally released the cover as a tribute to Bowie back in January 2016, saying at the time: “I wish I had some ornate or choice words to express how sad I am at the moment but I don’t, so I figured the best way for me to remember David Bowie was to cover the first song of his that I ever heard. At the risk of being trite, ‘Heroes’ changed my life. The melody accompanying ‘I, I will be king / and you / you will be queen’ is to me, not only the finest melody the Thin White Duke ever wrote but among the finest ever written period. And if you listen to the synth line in the end chorus of our track ‘Radioface’ very, very closely you can hear a small nod to ‘Heroes'. All hail the goblin king.”

Take a listen to the full song below (you'll be playing it over and over!)
