Starting next week, BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night will make its home at the London Palladium to host three special concerts celebrating the life and legacy of three of the most influential musical artists of recent years.
Friday Night Is Music Night is the world's longest-running live orchestral music radio programme, broadcast most Fridays on BBC Radio 2.
Best known as frontman of beloved British band Keane, Tom Chaplin will take to the stage on 7th November to perform the songs of Queen. Multi Grammy-award-winning soul star Peabo Bryson will pay homage to Barry White on 21st November, whilst three-time BRIT awards nominee Beverley Knight will celebrate the songs of Stevie Wonder on 22nd November.
All three performers will be backed by a 24-piece orchestra, and each concert will be recorded for broadcast in January 2019.
