#EdFringe Is Coming: Our Guide To The Best Of This Year's Comics!

Written by Andy Ritchie / June 18, 2017

IT'S HERE! IT'S FINALLY HERE! HAPPY EDFRINGE, Y'ALL!

We've decamped North of the border with 19 of our finest, funniest acts for the next four weeks, and we want YOU to come join the fun.

So if you're sitting comfortably, please allow us to introduce you to this year's Motley Crue of funny faces.

NAME: Lauren Pattison
WHO'S THAT, THEN? As one of the finalists in last year's BBC New Comedy Award, she's one of the hottest rising names on the circuit. You might have caught her warming up for Katherine Ryan on a few of last year's Kathbum tour dates.
WHAT'S THEIR SHOW? Lady Muck
WHY SHOULD I GO SEE HER? The Geordie's Lady Muck show is one that tells a story of love, feelings and stuff which is always a goldmine for laughs. Also Clive Anderson once called her "psychologically devious", whatever that means.
SHOW TIME & VENUE: 5.45pm, Pleasance: Attic

WHAT'S THEIR SHOW? Gráinne with a Fada
WHY SHOULD I GO SEE HER? Short.com called her 2016 show "one of the best structured hours of material at the Fringe", which is probably the best compliment you could receive (as long as you're not an improv act, obviously).
