Beth Ditto, front woman of the cult trio Gossip, will be presenting her long longed for solo debut "Fake Sugar" during her Europe tour this fall. Her first solo album is taking Beth back to her musical Rock/Alternative roots.

Since their formation in 1999 Gossip have released five studio albums and alone in Germany have sold more than 650.000 units in Germany. Next to the gold singles, that all went straight to the top 20 of the Airplay-Charts, their famous hit single "Heavy Cross" earned triple platinum. All in all Gossip sold over one million units of their latest album only in Europe.

Now Beth Ditto is off to new shores: next to launching her first own fashion line, with "Fake Sugar" she released - in her own words - a „Southern-Rock album, which doesn't mean it has to sound like Country.“ The video to "We Could Run" gives you a first impression, of what that sounds like.
